Eastern Oregon University's online B.S./B.A. in Fire Services Administration degree can prepare you for an administrative role through coursework taught by current and former fire chiefs.
Advance your firefighting career by learning about principles of emergency services through a series of courses about fire behavior, strategy, and prevention - complete specialized coursework in disaster planning, structure fires, wildfires and aviation fires. Future administrators will also practice personnel analysis, management, and capital budgeting while studying how various careers in fire services influence society.
An optional Wildland track is available for students seeking to meet Interagency Fire Program Management (IFPM) GS-401 Fire Management Specialist position supplemental standards.
This program meets the U.S. Fire Administration’s nationally recognized Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education model curriculum, plus the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
