The business administration bachelor's degree provides a solid understanding of the fundamental areas of business: finance, accounting, management and marketing. The program is designed to prepare students for the diverse environment of the business world.

K-State's business graduates find jobs with large corporations and small businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. They also are involved with banking activities, trading on the commodity and stock exchanges, working in advertising agencies, practicing accounting in public and private firms and working in major manufacturing businesses.
Program graduates have been found helping small businesses grow, working in family businesses and even starting their own businesses. They also hire and supervise employees, train new managers, plan budgets, create new products and set up company-wide information systems.
Kansas State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The general business bachelor's degree is offered through the K-State College of Business Administration. The college is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
