CalSouthern’s Bachelor of Applied Science is designed for those who have accumulated college course credits but, due to life circumstances, have never completed their degree. The program is structured to maximize the value of your transfer credits, whether they were earned at another university or through programs that offer college credit for professional or military training and experiences, such as CLEP, DSST/DANTES or ACE CREDIT. Up to 90 credits can be accepted in transfer, which will have you well on your way to finally completing your degree.
The Bachelor of Applied Science’s required core courses provide a well-rounded business curriculum. Students can build on this foundation by choosing elective courses that focus their studies in subject areas such as management, accounting, human resources, leadership, marketing or international business, among others. You’ll learn from dedicated educators who are also experienced, business professionals. They will work with you one-on-one to help you apply what you’ve learned to solve real-world issues, using both your coursework and life experience.

With maximum transfer credits and by taking courses simultaneously, Learners can complete the degree program in as little as 10 months. Or, Learners can proceed at a more leisurely pace and complete in six years or more.

Getting started on your Bachelor of Applied Science is a quick and simple process. There are no entrance examinations and courses start monthly throughout the year; you can begin your program as soon as your schedule permits. Just complete these four steps:
- Complete your enrollment application.
- Complete and sign an attestation form confirming your high school graduation.
- Pay your $75 application fee.
- Upon acceptance, sign your enrollment agreement.
Once the signed enrollment agreement is received, you’ll be contacted by your academic support team including your academic advisor and student success advisor. They will confirm the start date for your first course and walk you through a quick, but thorough orientation process that will give you all the information you need to get started.
