Course Overview

How do you get the right number of goods in the right place at the right time? How do you calculate the costs involved? How do you work with global partners? How are digital innovations changing the logistics area? In the Logistics Management course, you get to know all relevant areas of the logistics industry and also acquire important management skills.

Our bachelor's program is modular, which means that you study using subject areas that are divided into so-called "modules". Within these modules there is an introductory course and an in-depth course, which prepare you systematically for the completion of this module. Within the modules, you will receive ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System) for each successful completion, which document your performance. These ECTS points are internationally comparable and of course recognized.

To do this, you opt for at least two specialist specializations ("compulsory specializations") from the field of logistics and a maximum of one functional and industry specialization ("specializations").
Some exemplary specializations are:

  • Advanced Leadership
  • E-Commerce
  • Corporate Financing

Your professional future in logistics

The German logistics industry is booming. With sales of 235 billion euros and around 2.9 million employees, it is the third largest economic sector in Germany. Every day, over two million vehicles - trucks, trains or ships - are on the road for transports and deliveries. But logistical services today go far beyond traditional transport, handling and storage. Complex tasks in the context of industrial production or controlling global logistics networks are just a few examples. The use of the latest developments in the area of digitalization of processes and advanced IT technologies are part of the obvious tools of the logistics expert. Our distance learning course in logistics management prepares you optimally for the various tasks.
