The interdisciplinary postgraduate program LAW OF THE EUROPEAN UNION Has as its main mission the Scientific research and training on the subject of European Union law. Particular emphasis is placed on the most important legislative and case-law developments concerning the key areas of this law, such as the four fundamental freedoms of the Internal Market, the protection of human rights, free competition,

The program is offered in conjunction with the European University of Cyprus as Joint degree.

Structure of the Program

For the completion of the postgraduate course of study EUROPEAN UNION LAW, the postgraduate student must Be successfully examined in eight (8) six-month Thematic Modules (TH): Six Teachers Obligatory monitoring of research, theoretical and practical content and two Of the four offered within two different courses of study-specialization (European Competition Law and European Business Law).

Students, under the supervision and guidance of teachers, are required at each school. To prepare two (2) written assignments and, once they have obtained the required marks, entitle them to participate in the final examinations.

The expected learning outcome of the postgraduate curriculum LAW OF THE EUROPEAN UNION is to provide graduates who can combine academic knowledge with the required practical experience and familiarity with the most important issues of the legal order of the European Union.

Candidate Profile and Admission Requirements

The European Union law of interdisciplinary postgraduate studies can be open to graduates of non-formal higher education institutions wishing to acquire theoretical and practical training in the legal system of the European Union, as they have already completed their degree studies. Additionally, lawyers, lawyers, civil servants, and private business executives wishing to gain additional expertise in European affairs can be involved, regardless of direction.

A very good knowledge of English will help in studying international literature.
