Purpose of the postgraduate program 'Computer and Network Security'Is to promote the principles of computer security, secure network operation and cybersecurity.
The Program covers the principles of communication networks design, forensic computers and networks, computer security, networks and cyberspace, cryptography issues, security issues in wireless networks as well as issues related to Security Risk Management in Information and Communication Systems. The Program teaches those specialized knowledge required for the design of secure systems and networks.
Students will have the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they will acquire through specialized virtual computer, network and cyber security laboratories. It should be noted that the use of virtual workshops does not require the physical presence of students as long as access to them is remote. In the use of virtual laboratories, students will have the opportunity to experiment realistically with real tools related to computer and network security Through their computer, or their smart device. Students deliver work based on laboratory exercises for which they are graduated.
As part of the Program, students will also be able to understand and apply the various research techniques and develop the specific skills they will need to complete the Master's Thesis.
The program is aimed at:
To those who are interested in disseminating their knowledge on issues related to the knowledge of computer and network security.
- Students with a first degree in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics, physics and other specialties.
- Employees in private technology, IT and telecommunications companies.
- Workers in government departments.
- Trainers and telecommunication consultants.
