What is an A-level in mathematics? This course of study can provide students with a broad-based understanding of mathematical concepts, creating a strong foundation of knowledge. Students often work through a variety of sample problems followed by exams. Students may learn how to manage numbers both with and without the aid of a calculator. Classes in the course commonly cover subjects like algebra, trigonometry, differentiation, integration, exponentials, graphing, sequences and polar coordinates.

Students who graduate the program may gain a variety of benefits. The problem-solving skills used to approach math can be applied to a variety of careers. Additionally, a strong understanding of number manipulation and math theory may open a number of future academic and career opportunities.

The price of study differs based on the institution attended and the surrounding location. Commonly, students complete the course in two years, but some students may take longer. Researching cost and planning can help students allot appropriate funds.
